How-To Guide for Educators

Whether your interested in a single outdoor classroom for your school, or a board-wide initiative, educators carry a first-hand perspective and are integral in driving progressive education practices to optimize education and child development. Below you’ll find our guide to help educators get the ball rolling on outdoor learning projects.

Educators

Assemble a team of like-minded educators, staff and leaders at your school. Book an information session for key educators, staff and/or your principal to explore outdoor learning options to your school.

Networking

Principals, Superintendents and board purchasing agents are great resources for more information on advocating or soliciting-for an outdoor classroom at your school. You can share our How-To Guide for Administrators with the team at your facility, board or district.

Fundraising

Our entry-level starter package begins at just $9800 . We’ve worked with parents, teachers & principals who have run their own fundraisers and community events to raise the capital necessary to purchase an outdoor classroom. We have a great fundraising resource here to help as well.

Grants & Funding

With access to nature and greenspaces a focus nationally, grants and funding pools for greening projects and outdoor education are now commonplace. If you don’t see something local to you on our funding page, our team would be happy to help steer you in the right direction.

Stewardship

Like, follow & share our post and those of advocacy groups regarding the value and benefits of outdoor learning.
